Jamie is passionate about all aspects of nutrition and runs his own practice in Bristol. He has individual and corporate clients. 5 years of experience in organic food retail gives Jamie a broad understanding of the food supply chain and current food trends which enables him to help clients make educated and practical choices. The food we eat, and how we eat it can have a profound influence on our physical and mental health. Jamie completed 4 years of study and qualified at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) accredited by the University of Bedfordshire. He is a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists and abides by their strict code of ethics and practice. He now continues professional development, attending frequent seminars, lectures and workshops. Jamie takes a special interest in the history of food and how the choices our ancestors made, impact on our health. Jamie is also a registered practitioner of the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council and member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners and so able to accept NHS referrals from GPs, hospitals, primary care trusts, practice nurses and health visitors www.nhsdirectory.org.
