Rachel Bibb
Rachel loves to grow, cook, eat and share food, and is passionate about the positive role it can play in our lives.
Originally an International Relations student, Rachel wrote her dissertation on the globalisation of the food system, and became an avid believer in the importance of developing local, sustainable food systems as a result. She is now involved with a number of projects in the Bristol area: she ran Diggers and Dreamers gardening club - a food-growing project in a Bristol primary school, co-ordinates the weekly St Werburghs community meal, and volunteers for the Soil Association.
Recognising the growing problem of diet-related health issues in the UK, Rachel is also studying for a Masters in Public Health Nutrition, which is enabling her to understand how to bring together issues of nutrition and sustainability in addressing poor diets.
